Children’s Liturgy of the Word

This ministry takes place at the Crane Rd. Church during the 9:45 am and 11:30 am liturgies. Children ages 5-9 participate. After the opening prayer, adult leaders guide the children to the St. Francis Room, where they spend 20 minutes creatively helping the children understand the scripture readings for the day. The children are then led back into church at the offertory time so that they can participate in the rest of Mass with their families. Training is provided for adult volunteers, who typically serve one Sunday per month. For more information on this ministry, please contact Jerry Ryndak at 630-338-8164 or at jryndak@stpatrickparish.org.
