Members of this ministry bring meals to families in the parish in times of hardship (illness, injury, death in the family, job loss, etc…) and times of transition (welcoming a new baby, moving, etc…)

If you have experienced an unexpected set-back, it’s important be able to focus on healing and recovery. This ministry can help you during that time. And, as with our prayer life, we cannot just go to the Lord in our times of struggle; we need to go to Him in Thanksgiving and Praise! And so providing a meal for a first-time mom or a family welcoming miracle #8 is a beautiful way to celebrate new life in our community!

We will work with you to come up with a plan that fits- two weeks or two months, we are here to help as much as we can!

If you have a need for this service or you would like to receive an email when someone in the parish is in need of some home-cooked help, contact Megan Reusz (630-415-4208 or to be added to our email list.

Whoever hoards grain, the people curse, but blessings are on the head of the one who distributes it!”
