All Catholics are entitled to the Church's funeral rites. St. Patrick extends theses rites to all deceased Catholics. Please call the Parish Office at 630-338-8000 Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. to make appropriate arrangements.
Local funeral homes distribute the following letter describing the Funeral Luncheon services to those families having a burial handled through St. Patrick’s:
Our hearts are with you at this difficult time. If you wish help, St. Patrick’s will serve a luncheon in the Fr. Carse Center of the Downtown Church or in Fr. Dempsey Hall of the Crane Road Church following burial. A maximum of 125 people can be served. Salads, hot casseroles, and desserts are donated. Women volunteer their time to serve, set-up and clean-up. However, meat, cheese, bread, rolls, beverages and condiments must be purchased. To cover these costs, we ask the following donations:
Up to 40 persons served $150.00
40 to 60 persons served $200.00
60 to 80 persons served $250.00
80 to 100 persons served $300.00
100 to 125 persons served $375.00
Any food items not used will be sent home with the family. The luncheon committee must have 48 hours notice for adequate preparation.
Your check should be made payable to St. Patrick Church and delivered or mailed to St. Patrick Parish office following the luncheon.
