Healing Hands Mission Needs Your Support!

We are medical missionaries from St. Patrick, St. John Neuman, and St. Michael’s Parishes.  Last year, guided by the Holy Spirit, we saw 900 patients in 4 days. This year we are expanding our impact with primary care, dental, optometry, and physical therapy. We partner with our brothers and sisters of San Antonio de Padua Parish in rural Central America to provide essential medical services.

But We Can’t Do it Alone… We Need Your Prayers, Volunteers, and Financial Support.

To learn more about what we do and to make a tax deductible donation please visit our website at www.healinghandsmission.com.

The Global Bag Project is under Chapel of the Air Ministries

A 501(c)3 non-profit organization that is helping widowed and married women in Kenya support themselves and their children by selling their reusable shopping bags, aprons, cloth napkins and placemats, and padded computer bags.  Each woman goes through a one year training course. They are trained both in sewing and bookkeeping. At the end of their training, they receive a sewing machine on loan. After they have successfully starting their own sewing business, they pay back 70 percent of the sewing machine that was given to them at the end of their training.
Right now, we are looking for opportunities to sell the products these women have made.  We have a large selection of products.
Some of the bags can be seen on our website: The Global Bag Project – Reusable Shopping African Bags.
We have postponed hiring an additional person until we can acquire more revenue. We are also looking for church and other ministry partners that may come alongside us to help the Kenyan women help themselves.  If you or someone you know is interested in this endeavor, please have them contact me directly:
Thank you, Heather Ann Martinez, U.S. Director, Global Bag Project, heather1p17@yahoo.com, 630-334-1877
