The format consists of prayer time, a speaker who focuses on a topic relevant to women, and some social time. We meet on Friday mornings from 9:15 am to 11:00 am, six times a year, and 1 Sunday evening in December. A light meal is provided.

“Making Peace with your Body” Presented by Diane Gibson
Do you really look at yourself as a child of God or do you only see separate flawed pieces? Diane served on the Board of Tri City Family Services and was instrumental in starting their Eating Disorder program.  Diane’s goal is to have us look at ourselves differently.

“There and Back Again: A Catholic Journey” Presented by Donna Doherty
We are all on a journey trying to deepen our faith and trying to bring others back to faith.  How do we do this? Donna, Director of Faith Formation and Youth Ministry at St. Gall Catholic Church in Elburn, will provide us with some practical tips.

“The Power of Greens” Presented by Mary Fremgen and Penny Newkirk
Mary is owner of Food for Life, a company that prepares and delivers healthy meals to cancer patients in our community, and Penny is owner of Country Garden Cuisine Cooking School. They will give us a food demonstration and teach us about healthy recipes which we will have the pleasure of eating for brunch.
