We Need Volunteers & Donations!

We Need Your Help! The Elgin Soup Kitchen helps serve a hot delicious meal to the hungry, along with other area churches during the year. YOUR Family’s HELP will make a difference on the following dates:

  • Oct. 26, Nov. 30, Dec. 28: Serve Dinner & Clean Up. Arrive at 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Need 12 Servers

  • Nov 23: Food Prep, Serve Dinner & Clean Up. Arrive at 3:00 until 7:30 p.m. Need 8 food prep,12 servers.

Lazarus House Meal Service Program

Providing Hot Meals to the men, women, and children who reside at Lazarus House Homeless Shelter. Thank You to ALL who Signed Up! If you are able to help, please check the SignUp Genius link to see our needs for dates – twice monthly in 2019.

Do You have any hidden Musical Talent to Share with Our Senior Friends at Bickford Assisted Living? Can you sing, dance, play a musical instrument, or know someone who can? (Maybe a school group?)

Thank You to all who have contributed, donated or volunteered! With Your donations we were able to FILL Our Pantry & serve over 500 lunches this summer! 

This Program provides free lunches to those in need over the summer months when school is not in session. Many students receive a free or reduced lunch during the school year; however, when school is not in session these lunches are not available.  Please contact Megan Glenn at 630-913-7933 with questions or concerns. Thank you!!


Thanks to Everyone who donated Neckties, we currently have almost 450 ties! Still have Neckties to Donate? You can leave them in the Usher’s Room at the Crane Rd. Church with ‘Pat Reding’ on the bag and they’ll be picked up.
