STUDENTS, PARENTS, ADULTS & YOUNG ADULTS: Get Connected to the New Youth Ministers!

My name is Kylie Mulholland and I am thrilled to be one of your new youth ministers here at St. Patrick’s Parish! I recently moved to the area from Jefferson City, MO after graduating from Benedictine College. Your parish has been nothing but welcoming and hospitable as I roll into my second week. I am eager to begin meeting all of you around town, at events and as we return to Mass.

Also, I am engaged to Zachary Michieli who is from St. Charles and is a parishioner of St. Patrick Parish. We admire this community and feel blessed to start our marriage in such a beautiful place.

On a final note, I am more than excited to be starting this job with the joyful and experienced youth minister, Lauren Wright!

Hi everyone! My name is Lauren Wright and I am so very excited to be the new Director of Youth Ministry here at St. Patrick! I would love to have the opportunity to meet each of you in person, but in light of the current situation, I thought I would get a head start and introduce myself in this week’s bulletin.

So, a little bit about me: I was born and raised in the great state of Texas but, after studying youth ministry in college, moved out to Rockford where I had been working as youth minister for the past five years. I absolutely love being able to walk alongside young people and their families on this journey of faith and I cannot wait to see what the Lord is going to do next in this new chapter of youth ministry!

Together, we are praying and working towards a flourishing youth program!  Right now we are in the midst of developing a plan for the youth while also juggling the guidelines which have been placed before us due to COVID. First and foremost, we want you to know, that we are here to serve you and your family. They say it takes a village to raise a child, and we would love to become part of your village. The youth ministry exists to make Jesus real in the lives of our students so as to awaken the deepest desires of their hearts and we plan to do this, not just by preaching at students, but by walking with them. We are so excited to see what the Lord has in store for the youth program and for the St. Patrick community as a whole.
