Hesed House(Homeless Shelter)
Hesed House is a shelter for the homeless in Aurora. Many churches are involved in this ministry.
Each night an average of 195 men, women and children come to Hesed House seeking a place to sleep, do laundry, eat a meal and find medical and legal assistance. St. Patrick’s Day of Service is the first Wednesday of the month in February, April, October and December. Three shifts of volunteers serve for four hours. Other parishioners volunteer to bring food donations for the meals.
St. Patrick will provide food on Wednesday October 3, 2018, December 5, 2018, February 6, 2019 and April 3, 2019.
On these days breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided by St. Patrick’s parishioners.
Reminders will be sent out.
Please bring your Food Donations to the Fr. Carse Center at the Downtown Church by 2:00 p.m.
A special Thank You to everyone who donated food and/or their time to Hesed House this past year. Your kindness is very much appreciated.
As we will be updating our files, if you have a change of address or phone number please let us know.
We are hoping that you will be able to help out again. If you cannot donate or would like to change your donation, please let us know as soon as possible. Jose, Tracie and I really appreciate your help. Please give us a call!
