Words will never adequately express our extreme gratitude to all of those who sacrificed to bring our new life-saving clinic to fruition and who prayed us to a successful completion.

With our new strategic location adjacent to the 3rd largest abortion provider in the country, we can provide a better choice for those facing an unplanned pregnancy.

Most of all, thanks to the One from whom all blessings flow and Who cannot be outdone in generosity.

Praise God!

We are less than $400,000 away from reaching our $3.0 million campaign goal!  If you have not yet contributed and are interested in joining our lifesaving team, please visit www.onechoiceonelife.org or call Waterleaf at 630-701-6270 and ask for Mary Griffith.

1-2019 Miracle of the Month
“Irena” came to Waterleaf feeling confused as she was getting a lot of pressure to abort from the father of the baby as well as her family.  She stated she was depressed and unsure but thought she may parent.  Her caring advocate and medical team spoke to her about her options including the potential after-effects of abortion. She had an early ultrasound and agreed to return in a few weeks for a follow-up appointment and another chance to see her baby.   Irena returned and felt much more confident in parenting after seeing the beautiful image of her baby on the screen and speaking again to the Waterleaf team!

Recently, Irena called us and excitedly shared the announcement of the birth of her beautiful baby girl. She stated “when I saw my daughter something alive rose inside of me and I remember the very first time I heard her heart beat at your location and started crying not knowing what I was going to do.  Nine months later, I’m still in disbelief.  Thank you for the counseling, thank you for the opportunity to hear her heartbeat for the very first time.”

Healing Hands Medical Mission Needs Your Support!

We are medical missionaries from St. Patrick, St. John Neumann, and St. Michael’s Parishes.

Last year, guided by the Holy Spirit, we saw 900 patients in 4 days.  This year we are expanding our impact with primary care, dental, optometry, and physical therapy.

We partner with our brothers and sisters of San Antonio de Padua Parish in rural Central America to provide essential medical services.

But We Can’t Do it Alone… We Need Your Prayers, Volunteers, and Financial Support.

The Global Bag Project is under Chapel of the Air Ministries
A 501(c)3 non-profit organization that is helping widowed and married women in Kenya support themselves and their children by selling their reusable shopping bags, aprons, cloth napkins and placemats, and padded computer bags.  Each woman goes through a one year training course. They are trained both in sewing and bookkeeping. At the end of their training, they receive a sewing machine on loan. After they have successfully starting their own sewing business, they pay back 70 percent of the sewing machine that was given to them at the end of their training.

Right now, we are looking for opportunities to sell the products these women have made.  We have a large selection of products. Some of the bags can be seen on our website: The Global Bag Project – Reusable Shopping African Bags.
We have postponed hiring an additional person until we can acquire more revenue. We are also looking for church and other ministry partners that may come alongside us to help the Kenyan women help themselves.  If you or someone you know is interested in this endeavor, please have them contact me directly:
Thank you, Heather Ann Martinez, U.S. Director, Global Bag Project, heather1p17@yahoo.com, 630-334-1877
