The Catholic funeral liturgy brings great consolation to family and friends of the deceased.   If you need to schedule a funeral liturgy or a memorial Mass, please contact the parish office at 630-338-8000.

We have also prepared Funeral Guidelines to assist families in picking out readings and music for the funeral liturgy.  Click Funeral Guidelines to access the document.   If you have any questions about arranging a funeral, any of the priests at the parish would be happy to assist you.

We ask that you give all fees to the Sacristan or Priest before the Mass begins.  If you are working with a Funeral Home, they will take care of these details.  The fees are below:

$100 for St. Patrick Parish
$150 for the Priest Stipend
$150 for the Organist
$100 for the Cantor
$150 for the Instrumentalist, if applicable
$10 each for the two Altar Servers

Covid Requirements

Because of COVID19, the priest or sacristan will read the readings. Families do not need to provide readers or gift bearers. We are required to obtain a contact list of people who attended the funeral. The family may provide a list ahead of time of people that they expect will attend, or they may place a guestbook (or paper and pen) in the back of church to request the names as people arrive. Thank you for your cooperation.
